'Send As' Email - Google Workspace & Gmail




‘Send As’ permissions allow you to send outgoing emails as another address. In other words, emails will appear to be coming from the specified address. ‘Send As’ requires permission and verification from the address you wish to send as. ‘Send As’ permission is configured in your Gmail's account settings. 


  1. In your support Gmail account, click Settings.
  2. Click the Accounts and Import tab.
  3. In the Send mail as section, click Add another email address.
  4. Verify the account per the instructions.

Important: The 'Send As' email you verified must be set as the default. If it is not set as the default, you will be sending as your regular support address.
