OneDesk lets you easily find what you are looking for through convenient search options. There is a search tool within each view and a global search to help you locate what you need.

Global Search

The global search, as the name suggests, searches for your term across all of OneDesk.

1: In the top navigation, click the magnifying glass icon.

2: In the search bar, enter the search term

3. You can switch between the type of item to search for using the top tabs: Items, Conversations, Projects, Users, Customers 

View Search

On the right side of an application you will see the bar labeled “search this view”.

This option will search within the current application as well as within any currently applied filters. 

Note: You can save search terms as part of a custom view. See the article Custom Views for more information on view creation.
