User / Customer Types




What are user and customer types

OneDesk allows you to have customer or user types. You can select a name, color, and icon for each type to visually distinguish them from one another. User or customer types are primarily for internal tracking and organization purposes. 


Create user types

More Applications > Administration > Users. 

Toggle on 'Show Hidden Types' to display all potential options. 

By default, three types are enabled but you can add up to ten unique types.  Turn types on or off by toggling under the 'Visible' column.

Displaying type on the user/customer detail panel

The customer/user types are displayed on the user/customer detail panel (profile).  By default, the 'type' property is not display and needs to be added to the detail panel.
